How I Toned My Body With A Whole Body Vibration Machine

Updated on August 1, 2014

Whole Body Vibration Machines

This lens is about whole body vibration machines and my experience with them.

I will start by telling you about my weight loss story with these machines and how it started.

Then I will explain the types of exercices I did and the benefits of this new generation of exercice machines.

My Weight Loss Story

In 2007 I had a baby, in 2009 I started taking a new medication that made me gain 15 pounds for a total of 25 pounds on a five foot frame,

I was devastated and I didn't feel good about myself. I tried dieting but it was impossible for me, I would do it for a few days and just get discouraged. I tried the gym and I hated it so much that I called it the torture room.

I wasn't happy, I could't wear fun clothes like before. Beaches were out of the questions and cruises too.

Everybody was talking about a weight loss center and how amazing it was so I went over there to see what it was about.

It was a combination of a healthy diet similar to Weight Watchers, drinking tea and water plus 3 sessions a week of infratherapy and whole body vibration machines.

I had to try it

The Diet

Well I did it for a total of 5 days. The lady insisted on it but I could't do it so she said just eat right and stop it with the diet soda. She told me to drink my water and that the vibration machine and the infrared blanket would still give me the results I wanted

The Whole Body Vibration Machine

I started exercising with the vibrating machine for 15 minutes 3 times a week in combination with 45 minutes of infrared blanket sessions.

Standing without moving for 10 minutes on a vibrating machine will burn about 300 calories, if you exercise it can be up to 800.

Is that true? I don't know.

All I know is that not only did I lose the weight and more than i expected, my body was super toned and my skin was pretty and glowing.. I felt happy and good...

My cellulite completely gone and I'm almost 40.

There was a trainer there and she made me do weights on the machine and I was sweating like crazy,

I liked it because it was just 10 minutes so I didn't have time to get bored. I would sit on the machine for 5 minutes for stimulating water retention loss. I saw amazing results with this.

The trainer told me that 10 minutes of vibrating machines equals to 100 minutes of normal exercise for calorie burning and body benefits.

It was a combination of infratherapy and whole body vibration machine that gave me these results.

The only problem was that it was crazy expensive and after the infrared blanket I was so sweaty that i had to go home and shower and I had to drive all the way downtown to get to the center..

I didn't want to stop my sessions.

I wanted to have this at home so I first got the infratherapy blanket and then the whole body vibration machine.

I do this at home 3 times a week now.. at night if I want to.I just stand on the machine now, no weightlifting.

I saved a lot of money like this and I still have my cool youthfull body..

I have the body I had when I was 15.

Oh, at the center they told me I did water retention. Before my pregnancy, my shoe size was 6. After the pregnancy it was 7. Now it is back to 6.

Both the machine and the blanket help with water retention.

Whole Body Vibration Machines And What They Do

They Vibrate Haha

Well I was told that this technology has been used in medical centers for about 30 years. It is said to help with balance, muscle tone, calorie burning, strength, bone density, cellulite and water retention.

I did research before buying my own machine and I could only find good reviews and benefits for this type of exercise.

Madonna was using the Power Plate. Well I could't afford it so I got a little one for home use that I am super satisfied with.

I don't know how to explain it..it is like a Yoga body. Lean. Not big muscle just lean.

Dis you ever try exercising on a whole body vibration machine?
